Never too early for summer plans...

So, it is official. We are going to IRELAND!! June 1-13th is set aside and plane tickets are purchased. It seems like we have been saving forever; its kind of difficult to say goodbye to some of that hard saved savings. Traveling has been one of my passions discovered in college and it feels good to make plans with my husband. We have never traveled together out of the country so this will be an adventure. It has been a high priority of mine to travel to Europe as a married couple before we started having children.

I will be sending my official transcript request out tomorrow. This application process seems tedious. I have one of three recommendation requests, and I still need to write an essay. I haven't written an essay in four years. My vocabulary is half of what it was when I graduated college. This is not going to be pretty.

But in more encouraging news, my husband will be graduating with his Masters in Education Administration this spring! He is making leaps and bounds in his career and I am so proud of him. My hopes are up for this year to bring some exciting changes for the both of us.

30 is not too old to start a family, right? I don't want to be 60 and have kids in high school....I want to enjoy my retirement. I am obviously still too selfish to start a family at this psychological stage anyway. Oh well, God will provide. He has taken pretty good care of us so far.
